In a fat cutting phase, the bane of my existence is salad dressing. It tastes delicious, but it’s incredibly high in calories for only a few tablespoons. So, I decided to make my own at home that tastes WAY better (and is WAY cheaper).
This recipe came together in about 5 minutes with a few, simple ingredients. It blended up beautifully with my immersion blender, but a food processor would also work if you don’t have an immersion blender.
Nonfat Ranch Dressing
Ingredients
1 c nonfat Greek yogurt
1/3 c avocado oil mayo
about 1 cup nonfat buttermilk
3 tbsp Kinder’s The Blend seasoning
3 tbsp dried parsley
3 tbsp freeze dried chives
2-3 tsp dried dill
S&P to taste
Directions
1. Add everything except the buttermilk to a tall, wide mouth cup or Mason jar.
2. Blend with an immersion blender to desired consistency, until everything is well incorporated.
3. Add the buttermilk until it reaches your desired consistency. Add additional S&P to taste as needed.
4. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks!
